September Sun

Reality pierces the heart like

the September sun

burns through

the morning fog.

A painful shaft but for

an instant, that turns into

a flood of warmth,

penetrating the dampness,

coloring the grey, golden,

And revealing not only the

face of a new day, but also

the truth behind the clouds.
