PROMISE

January promise from a winter sun, Cold memories fade – colors have begun To brighten the air with visions of spring, Tempting the senses and trying to bring The future to focus while the past remains A silent tribute to the strength that tames The January memories of a silver sun With a winter promise that life has just begun.
